My Hobbies
One of my hobbies is Headstone Photograph Collecting and Publishing on my Website. This is a hobby that is very beneficial not only for the outdoor exercise that it provides me but it also provides a service to anyone anywhere who have family members buried in Carroll County Arkansas. This hobby is very satisfying in that respect. The digital age has made it easy and relatively inexpensive to collect a large number of Headstone photographs in a very short time. It is not unusual for me to shoot 300 photographs in an afternoon. I am able to transfer these digital photographs directly to my computer, edit them as needed, and link them to a webpage. There is no expense for film or processing and it is a leisure activity that is not demanding on one's time or energy. A digital camera is perfect to use in taking headstone photos. In addition to my ongoing work in cataloging the cemeteries of Carroll County, I also take special priority requests from individuals for headstone photographs of their family members located in cemeteries within Carroll County that are not yet listed on my website and send them out via Email as .jpg files to the requesting family.
